Starlight Childrens Foundation needs your help this Starlight Day Friday 4 May to raise $2 million to brighten the lives of more than 33000 sick kids and their families around Australia.
Starlight Day aims to raise much-needed funds to keep Starlights uniquely Australian Starlight Express Room and Captain Starlight programs in every childrens hospital in the country open seven days a week.
On Starlight Day more than 2000 purple and yellow-clad volunteers will hit the streets nationally to sell Starlight merchandise and collect donations in shopping centres central business districts and train stations.
Individuals corporations schools and community groups are invited to throw a fundraising barbeque - a Star-BQ - on Starlight Day or anytime during May with friends family or workmates as a fun and social way to raise vital funds.
Starlight Day is generously supported by EB Games and Big W and is endorsed by Starlights celebrity chef ambassadors including Hayden Quinn Neil Perry and Herb Faust.
Your help is needed more than ever as Starlight relies solely on the community to deliver and evolve its innovative hospital programs which are developed to complement the Australian healthcare system.
